Your Consultant - Daria Skibington-Roffel

In 1997, Daria learned HTML and began developing websites from scratch. Since that time, she has kept up to date on the latest trends in web design and social media.

Daria has also assisted in the start-up of non-profit organizations, including writing bylaws, facilitating provincial incorporation, grant development, fundraising, program development, networking, advocacy, and developing effective volunteer programs. 

She has also facilitated the research, development and implementation of database solutions, non-profit management and volunteer program management.

Daria is passionate about volunteerism and currently serves on the Autism Calgary Board of Directors and was instrumental in the development of programs and services for young adults on the autism spectrum which previously were not available in Southern Alberta. Also, she was involved in the development of two programs that assist adults on the autism spectrum find gainful employment in technology: Meticulon and Spectrum Advantage.

Since 1988, Daria has volunteered in a number of capacities, including: 

  • Crisis intervention
  • Board governance
  • Non-profit management and coaching
  • Facilitation of workshops
  • Public speaking
  • Event planning/management
  • Campaign leadership

She holds certifications in ITIL Foundations (IT Service Delivery), Volunteer Administration, Public Speaking, Non Profit Management (2015), and Leadership.
